It is Christmas Eve and Stephen and I are the store. Soho is still busy with last minute shoppers, and we are at the end of our holiday sale on the current Dorian Grey collection. I’m going to a holiday gathering tonight, home of the Kablers…my New York family. Liz Kabler was my freshman roommate at NYU, and even though she now lives in London, where she is taking the art world by storm as a Vanity Fair Bright Young Thing we’ve remained close. She and her mother have always treated me like family. So what does one get for a family who already has one of the world’s greatest art collections? I’m thinking the lapel scarves, one in black and one in grey. They are great for both London and New York weather, especially cause the lapel is thick enough to wrap around your face. I always think women in menswear are impossibly chic.
